The 3 Books That Opened My Eyes to Biblical Health Stewardship

The 3 Books That Opened My Eyes to Biblical Health Stewardship

Dana Ellison Books, Recommendations, Stewardship
When a borrowed book in a doctor’s office completely shifts the way you view health stewardship?Three books deeply influenced my perspective on health, not as a diet trend or self-improvement project, but as a biblical responsibility. Each one challenged long-held assumptions and helped me see the connection between faith, the body, and how we care for the temple God has given us.This wasn’t just about food. It was about truth, conviction, and rethinking what I had been taught about health through the lens of Scripture. If you’ve ever wondered whether the Bible has more to say about your health legacy than you realized, this post may give you a lot to think about.

Why Lasting Health Begins with Your Thoughts

Why Lasting Health Begins with Your Thoughts

Dana Ellison Metabolism, MidLife, Mindset
Sometimes the hardest part of changing your health isn’t the plan itself. It’s the thoughts that follow you through it.The quiet ones that whisper:“This isn’t working.”“I’ll never stay consistent.”“It’s too late for me.”What many women don’t realize is that those thoughts don’t just affect their mood. They can shape how your body responds.Scripture reminds us, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind...” Romans 12:2 Health stewardship is about more than habits. It’s about what you allow to take root in your mind day after day.If you’ve felt stuck between knowing what to do and actually walking it out, you’re not alone. It’s just one of the enemy's tactics.

Hello, I'm Dana!

I used to struggle with painful joints, exhaustion, and excess weight. I wanted to enjoy time with my family and serve in church ministries, but some days I barely had the energy to keep up.

At the worst point of my health, the Lord led me to learn about nutrition, supplements, and the chemicals I was using in my home. Making small changes gradually over six months drastically improved my health and changed how I cared for it.

Now I help Christian women who are active in serving their families and/or church ministries renew their health, support better sleep, manage fatigue, and care for their blood sugar. We focus on nutrition, supplements, movement, and a biblical mindset, one step at a time.

If that’s you, get in touch. I’d love to help.
